Her hobbies were knitting, sewing, and she was well known for her cake decorating, especially wedding cakes. She also taught as a substitute teacher in public school systems and as an in-home tutor for handicapped children. David was predeceased by his father David D. Galarneau, Sr. and Brother Daniel A. Galarneau. She graduated from St. Petersburg High School and Pembroke College of Brown University in 1944.
